FLCOOS

The Florida Coastal Ocean Observing System (FLCOOS) is an ad hoc group of the ocean community in Florida (largely academic and government sectors) who are interested in the development, implementation, and use of a comprehensive and integrated coastal ocean observing system that provides benefit and is consistent with Florida's diverse ocean resource and ecosystem needs. FLCOOS has an excellent archive of their past meetings that include agendas, power points, and minutes of meetings. If you have an interest in seeing what types of OOS projects are occurring in Florida, visit their web site at http://www.marine.usf.edu/flcoos.
