Ridge Liepens, Luiz Fernandes, and Katherine Simmons deploy a Multiple Opening/Closing Environmental Sensing System (MOCNESS), capable of collecting up to nine discreet samples at different depths during one tow. The MOCNESS was used to collect krill samples at various depths in single aggregations. (From video by John Wormuth)
