A sattelite-tracked dirfter released by Latex left the Louisiana shelf, then performed a latge clockwise loop. In early Septemver it was Trapped in an anticyclonic ri g at the outer edge of the Texas Shelf. Exiting the ring in January, it moved southward and finally stranded on a Mexican beach.
