Oceanography is an opportunity for adventure, exploration, discovery, and to chart the unknown. Our department’s greatest strength is our diversity. Faculty and students come from a wide range of backgrounds with degrees in the traditional sciences, engineering, and mathematics. They also work in a variety of disciplines studying biological, chemical, geological and physical oceanography. We all share a common passion, however. Oceans!
