Research

My research focuses on understanding the diversity, and evolution of phytoplankton species. I use high throughput sequence (HTS) approach to assess the species diversity. Also, I focus on Harmful Algal species diversity and generating means for quick identification of target species. My present research include evaluating the changes in the planktonic community using metatranscriptome approach.
